Web Apps

Demo site coming soon.

Features

  • easy filtering and sorting of member records to find overdue members
  • quick renewal and entry of payment data
  • communication feed recording all interactions with members and changes to their details
  • three levels of access for users: reader, editor and manager

Case Study

The Member Register was developed for a client to replace a complex spreadsheet that was being used to track their member details and membership renewals. The spreadsheet had become bloated and hard to manage and it was too easy to mistakenly modify or delete data. On top of this, the number of details about members were very hard to view without a lot of horizontal scrolling on the spreadsheet.

This app uses Google’s Material Design library to provide a responsive and clean design for member details and the forms to edit member records. The website is built with Angular backed by Firebase and Google Authentication making it a fast, secure and cost-effective system for a not-for-profit or small business.

The app’s database utilises Firebase’s free tier - this application stores data securely and efficiently and could hold information for around 100,000 members before needing to upgrade to a paid $30 a month plan.

This app provides an interface that allows you to add and edit your events, as well as customise how the user can sort and filter events.

Features:

  • mobile responsive events listing
  • add, edit and feature events
  • easy to use filter and sort for users to find events
  • customise filter and sort options
  • Google Analytics integration to monitor user flow, interactions and interests
  • easy integration with your current website using a sub-domain: events.yourwebsite.com.au

This app can be skinned with your colours and branding and filled with events in a matter of hours.

CASE STUDY

I created the Easy Events List app for the History Council of NSW (HCNSW) to display their events for History Week 2017. The events list assisted the HCNSW’s audience to browse History Week events by region and to have all the important details for an event available at a glance.

The HCNSW is a not-for-profit organisation that works very hard to promote the practice and enjoyment of history in NSW, from partnering with major cultural institutions like the State Library of NSW to working with community organisations to promote history, and providing historians with opportunities to communicate their work to the general public.
